Every component of the Model 38 Fly Reel is engineered to be robust and reliable, giving longevity and performance under pressure. Machined from solid aluminium bar stock, the Model 38 frame and spool are anodised to saltwater specification, and are engineered for strength as well as having classical looks. For stopping power, the Model 38 features a multi layer stainless clutch drag system developed to give a smooth and faultlessly simple and efficient operation, over a wide range of settings.

All reels are fitted as standard with medium arbour spool and nickel silver fittings. Conversion from left to right hand retrieve is achieved by simply releasing and turning over the drive hub. Each reel comes complete with a protective neoprene pouch. Reels can be fitted with classical polished brass fittings to order.
